The challenges facing our communities—lack of educational resources, poverty, unemployment—cannot be solved alone. At the Darcus Foundation, we believe the answer lies in partnerships.
When local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and individuals come together, powerful things happen. Resources multiply. Opportunities expand. Most importantly, people feel supported and seen.
Our Foundation is proud to work with organizations that share our vision of providing second chances. These partnerships allow us to:
- Expand our scholarship program so more students can attend college or trade school.
- Create mentorship opportunities where students learn directly from professionals.
- Host community service days where families receive food, clothing, and educational resources.
- Strengthen ties between people who might otherwise feel isolated or forgotten.
We’ve already seen the difference. A local business owner who donated to the Foundation was later able to mentor a scholarship recipient who went on to work in his industry. A church partnered with us to host a volunteer day that served over 100 families.
